Passing of the Torch...
...the Promise of Tomorrow. For the Diaspora from the North-East African country, Eritrea, it is our right to inherit the knowledge of our past, embrace the uniqueness of our identity, and contribute to its and ours personal growth in order to cultivate a brighter tomorrow for the generations to come. The Tigrigna word "Hidri" roughly translates into the English word "Promise"-it is through the contributions and efforts of our youth that will allow our history to become timeless and our people united. The Hidri organization serves to provide a sound foundation for our high school aged Eritrean brothers and sisters that promote academic/professional success and strong sense of identity among other things.
